Shoe Repair ...... I Hope pt 2

I decided to leave the boots for longer than 48 hrs because the weather has been damp here lately and the Shoo Goo pack suggested a longer drying time.

So today it was time to take off the twine and see if the Goo did it's job. I have to say that it seems to be fine. Time will tell of course. Shall see how long they last.

So here are the boots with the soles back in place. The glue did leave a few messy bits around the join but I am sure those will wear off in no time. If I could be bothered I could clean up that extra glue myself but not really worth it for a pair of 'knock around' boots. Just wanted the soles back on mainly.



To finish the job it was time to put the laces back in and give the old guys a bit of a clean and polish, to help prolong their life even longer. Not looking too bad for a pair of old faithful boots that have done quite a few Klms over the years.
