The price for using a shoe repair shop seemed a little high in my opinion. In fact if I was going to pay what they were asking, I might as well just buy new shoes.
So after some Internet searching I decided to try a product that a lot of people seemed to think works pretty well. It is called Shoo Goo.
After I applied the Goo I bound the boots with twine, hoping that it will do a nice job of holding the soles in place while the Goo dries properly. It looks a bit funny.....but fingers crossed for a good result. I am going to leave them for 48 hrs and then see if it worked.
